I’m a Midwest girl through and through. After 31 years in education, I’m embarking on a brand new adventure — and Midwest Country Roads is where I’m inviting you along for the ride.

This blog was born out of a simple idea: that the best finds, the most practical solutions, and the sweetest moments in life don’t have to cost a fortune or come with a lot of fuss. I’m a woman in my fifties who loves homemaking, good food, a beautiful garden, and the kind of products that actually do what they promise. If I find something I love, I want to tell everyone about it — and that’s exactly what I do here.
